Mission Statement:
We will deliver Custodial Service that provides an exceptionally clean and sanitary environment for students, faculty, and visitors for learning, teaching, research and work.

The Custodial Services department is the largest department within Facilities. Custodial Services currently works under the management of Facilities Maintenance. This division provides daily cleaning and sanitizing for the University classrooms, faculty and staff offices, labs, performance halls, lounges, restrooms, hallways, stairwells, and all outside trash receptacles located near building entrances and parking lots.

102 custodial workers clean 2,607,468 square feet of space. Normal working hours are Monday thru Friday from 12:30 am to 9:00 am. Additionally, some staff work Monday thru Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm servicing restrooms and responding to emergencies.
