This work unit operates and maintains UNT's energy management system (EMS). The EMS controls the operation of the central heating and air conditioning systems in most campus facilities.

They operate air conditioning and heating systems to maintain comfortable conditions for the occupants yet minimize energy waste. For example, they shut down systems when the buildings are vacant. The shop operates and maintains control field equipment related to EMS on campus.

If you have building temperature problems, contact this group by calling 369-7320. Technicians respond to hot/cold calls and air quality issues campus-wide.
