Remote Access

If you are at home, travelling, or simply at a different computer on campus, there are several ways that you can access information you would normally have at your desk.

Outlook Web Access

Note: If you log in before you mail has been migrated to Outlook, only use it to become familiarized with the web client. You will only be able to send messages. All replies and new messages will be delivered to your GroupWise mailbox. Calendar, contacts, tasks will not be synchronized with GroupWise.

From any web browser, type in the address: webmail.unt.edu.

Type in your log in information as UNT\your euid and your EUID password

Campus VPN (Virtual Private Network)

Connecting to UNT's VPN will give your PC an IP address reflecting one located on campus, essentially making your computer part of the UNT network. In order to connect to your network drives, you must use the VPN. Consequently, a new requirement for Remote Desktop is that you connect to the campus network using the University's VPN.
